Mayan Woman's Head Sculpture . . .
Description: Silverplated reproduction of a Mayan woman's head which has been found in the Royal Tomb of the Temple of the Inscriptions in Palenque. The original is exhibited in the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. For it's protection and to avoid oxication, it is covered with a very hard lacquer. The exact piece retails for ,000 on the D'Argenta website.
Picture number 8 highlights her male mate and is not included. However it is currently up for sale on eBay.
