LATIN AMERICA AZTEC MAYAN PYRAMID FRAMED WALL ART EMBROIDERY Mid Century Modern

Description

Purchased this very detailed, Mesoamerican, embroidery at a local estate sale. Shows a  Mayan or Aztec pyramid with two chiefs a parrot flying over the pyramid and a whole lot of other decorative, panels. The embroidery is stitched onto a purple fabric (possibly silk), and mounted on a board. The simple black wood frame, frames the piece without taking away from its beauty. Frame measures 24" x 19.75". By the frame and style, I'd say it was created in the Mid Century Modern era.
