    Description

    Up for sale is a stunning modernist sterling silver dish made by Juventino Lopez Reyers of Mexico City.  His shop was founded in 1935 and he was well known for his modernist designs.  The dish is marked on the bottom "JLR HO EN MEXICO STERLING 925".  I do not know the exact date this was made as I am not the original owner.  This piece has beautiful modern lines and has an attached silver stand.  The dish weighs 13.4 ounces or 380 grams.  I have lightly polished it but will leave further polishing up to the next owner.  Please see all of the photos for more detailed size and condition.  Quite a beautiful example of mid century modern design!!
