Offered for auction a "VINTAGE MID CENTURY HAND WROUGHT BRASS & ABALONE INLAY CRAB DISH / LOS CASTILLOS MEXICO".  The Abalone inlay design is exceptionally well hand crafted and the crab dish structure is quite creative.  This dish is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with light wear, no cracks, no dents or missing inlay.  The underside has the Maker's impressed hallmark stamp along with METALES, HECHO EN MEXICO, HAND WROUGHT (Photo #5).  The dimensions: Width at widest point...9 3/4", Depth...7", Height...1 1/2".  This brass dish is clean, from a smoke-free home and ready to display.
